  • Outfest has just announced a Favorite Girls' Shorts program of selected films that screened at this year's Outfest, including "LONG AGO."

    The screening will be on Wednesday, September 26 at 7:30 pm at the historic Graumans Egyptian Theater in Hollywood.

  • Long Ago will screen at Outfest in Los Angeles on Friday, July 20th at 7pm at the Director's Guild Theater 1 and on Sunday, July 22 at 12pm at Barnsdall Art Gallery Theater.

  • Long Ago will screen at Newfest in New York City on Friday, June 8th at 10:15pm at AMC Loews, theater 10, on 34th Street. The film will screen again on Saturday, June 9th at 1:15pm (same location).
  • The film will screen at the historic Castro Theater in San Francisco on Saturday, June 23rd at 3:30pm.

  • Long Ago will appear in Newfest, the New York Gay and Lesbian Film Festival in June, followed by Frameline, the San Francisco Gay and Lesbian Film Festival later that month.

  • Long Ago recently completed principal photography in Echo Park, Silverlake, and West Hollywood.
  • We will be submitting the film to major festivals beginning in Spring 2007.

  • Following three weeks of auditions we have assembled an amazing cast.
  • We recently signed on our camera/lighting crew and an Emmy-winning sound engineer.

  • Our script was recently recognized as a semi-finalist in the American Gem Screenwriting Competition.

  • Mr. Joe White, recipient of the prestigious American Society of Cinematographers' Jordan Cronenweth Heritage Award has signed on as our Director of Photography.
  • We are very excited about the line-up of musicians slated to play at our upcoming fundraising events. The September 16th show in L.A. will feature ***Leslie and the Ly's***.
  • We are in the process of approaching several actresses to play Maddie and Bev, the principal roles. In addition, we will be having two open casting sessions in early September.
  • Our shoot dates have been confirmed: October 12, 13, 14, 15.

  • Locations are more or less set and they could not be more perfect. We have an Eastside coffee shop with just enough grit and character. We also found a filfthy hole-in-the-wall bar.
  • Two new producers, Rachel Garza and Patrece Bryan, have joined our team.
